AUDIOSCIENCE ANNOUNCES WINDOWS 7 BETA DRIVER
WDM driver for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7

NEWCASTLE, DE (June 30, 2009) – AudioScience, Inc., a leader of professional peripherals for the broadcast and entertainment industries, announces the availability of their Windows 7 beta driver. The release, available for both Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems, allows early adopters to experiment with AudioScience products using the Windows 7 Release Candidate available from Microsoft.

The 32-bit version of the Windows 7 driver includes support for applications utilizing DirectSound, DirectShow, ASIO, Wave, and Mixer interfaces as well as the AudioScience ASX and HPI interfaces. The 32-bit version of the Windows 7 driver will behave the same as the AudioScience 32-bit XP driver. The 64-bit driver supports 32-bit and 64-bit applications written for DirectSound, DirectShow, ASX, and HPI only at this stage. Hardware support includes all AudioScience adapters currently in production.
