AudioScience Announces the Iyo Dante Family at InfoComm 2018
NEWCASTLE, DE (June 4, 2018) AudioScience, the audio I/O company, is pleased to announce its first Audinate® Dante® products, the Iyo Dante family at InfoComm 2018. The Iyo Dante is a cost-effective family of microphone/line Dante audio-over-IP (AoIP) interfaces. AudioScience will be demoing the Iyo in InfoComm booth #C1635 along with its other networked audio products.
Aimed at installed sound applications, three 1U rack-mount models provide 8x8, 16x16 or 32x32 balanced analog audio inputs and outputs on 3.81mm terminal blocks. Each input accommodates microphone through line level signals with a gain range of -60 to +24dBu and +48V phantom power is individually switchable. Output levels are electronically balanced with configurable levels of up to +24dBu.
An innovative use of RGB LEDs on the front panel show per channel audio levels and streaming status, while an embedded web server allows configuration and monitoring of input and output levels. Dual Gigabit Ethernet jacks allow redundant Dante operation. They can be configured as a two port switch for network daisy chaining. Power is provided from a built-in universal AC power supply. Redundant power is available using an external 12VDC supply via a locking 3.5mm jack.
Like any standard Dante product, routing is achieved using the Dante Controller and all units can also be operated in AES67 interoperability mode.
Nicole Santiago, AudioScience Network Product Manager noted, “With AudioScience’s expertise in audio I/O products we are excited to now have the Dante Iyo family; the usability between AudioScience’s implementation and Dante’s user-friendly software and automatic configuration make’s audio networking stress-free for everyone”
