For Immediate Release AudioScience to unveil first AVB products at INFOCOMM 2013 Hono Series Expands with AVB Mini and Virtual Soundcard NEWCASTLE, DE (June 12, 2013) AudioScience, Inc., a professional digital audio innovator in the radio broadcast and installed sound industry,will unveil their first AVB products at InfoComm 2013, held in Orlando, FL from June 12th-14th. These first in a series of AVB products include the Hono AVB mini family and the Hono Virtual Soundcard for Windows. The Hono AVB Minis are the 1st AVB endpoint products from AudioScience. Four products will be available, the Hono AVB 2.2M/4.4M, with 2/4 line inputs/outputs with studio quality mic preamps, and the 2.2D/4.4D with 2/4 channels of AES/EBU input/output. All models support 48kHz and 96kHz sample rates. The IEEE 1722.1 Discovery and Control protocol allows the Hono's to be configured using 3rd party AVB Controllers. DSP functionality includes a parametric equalizer and compander/limiter on the inputs and programmable delays on the outputs as well as full matrix mixing. AudioScience has leveraged its expertise in Windows audio drivers and network audio to develop the Hono AVB Virtual Soundcard. The 1st release is the Hono AVB 64.64V, which features standard WDM and ASIO interfaces and 64x64 AVB audio channels as well as an additional media clock input and output stream for syncing. The 64.64V utilizes the RTX Real-time operating system from Interval Zero to deliver the same performance as a high end digital audio hardware. Supporting the IEEE 1722.1 Discovery and Control protocol, the Virtual Soundcard can be configured using 3rd party AVB Controllers. Both Windows 7 32bit and 64bit are supported.
