AUDIOSCIENCE’S ASI8914 WINS RADIO WORLD “COOL STUFF” AWARD
Quad Channel HD Radio™ Tuner Adapter Honored at NAB2008

NEWCASTLE, DE (April 23, 2008) – AudioScience, Inc., a leader of professional audio peripherals for the broadcast and entertainment industries, wins Radio World’s “Cool Stuff” Award at NAB2008. The ASI8914 manufactured by AudioScience is the winner of radio’s most prestigious technology honors, the Radio World “Cool Stuff” Award, given by a panel of engineering judges on behalf of Radio World newspaper at the NAB2008 convention in Las Vegas.

Radio World’s “Cool Stuff” Award-winning products, announced by U.S. Editor in Chief Paul J. McLane, were selected by a panel of expert radio broadcast engineers as notable for their design, features, cost efficiency and performance in serving radio broadcast users. The winners will be featured in Radio World, which is read by thousands of broadcast professionals in the United States, around the world and online.

Only a small number of products were chosen for the Radio World “Cool Stuff” Awards from among the hundreds, if not thousands, of new products on display at the convention.

The ASI8914 is a universal, full-length PCI card that contains four HD Radio/AM/FM tuners and is designed for use in HD Radio broadcast monitoring and auditing. Each tuner may be set to an independent analog or HD Radio station. The audio from each tuner is presented to the computer host as a mono or stereo record stream that may be accessed through a 32bit PCI bus master interface.
